Today I’m talking about a few of my go-to beauty products that are currently in my everyday rotation. I love trying new products, and most days when I apply my makeup, I’ll switch off between different BB creams/foundations, mascaras, or blushes depending on what look I’m going for. But the five products I’m sharing today are ones I’ve been reaching for day after day because they’re just that good! Keep reading to find out what my five go-to beauty products are and why I love them so much!
Morphe Blending Sponge
I’ve tried several blending sponges over the years, and this one by Morphe is by far my favorite. What sets it apart from other sponges is its shape. The flat side is ideal for blending BB cream and foundation, and because it’s flat instead of rounded like a lot of other beauty sponges, it covers a lot of area at once and cuts down on the amount of time it takes me to blend my whole face. The other side of it is pointed and is perfect for blending concealer – particularly in my inner corner. A lot of other sponges I’ve tried have had more of a rounded tip, so I could never quite get them into my inner corner and would end up having to go in with my finger to finish blending. But this sponge’s tip is the perfect size and allows me to blend everything seamlessly without having to get my hands full of makeup. I also use this sponge to apply loose powder, and it works great for setting my face without giving me a heavy, cakey look. It really is the perfect sponge for your entire face!
Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint
I love wearing luminous foundations that give my skin a dewy finish, but since my skin is on the oily side, wearing these types of products can be a challenge. By mid-afternoon, they’ve usually started break up on my face and wear off as my oils come through. But this skin tint by Nars is my secret weapon that allows me to wear dewy foundations without having to worry about them sliding off my face halfway through the day. It’s an ultra-matte product that keeps my skin oil-free throughout the day. Since I prefer my skin to look dewy as opposed to flat, rather than using it alone, I’ll mix a small drop of it in with whatever BB cream or foundation I’m wearing, and it keeps my face shine-free all day without making me too matte. This product is perfect for helping luminous-finish foundations last throughout the day.

Becca Brightening Corrector
I have dark circles under my eyes that never seem to go away, no matter how much sleep I get. I’ve always used concealer to lighten them, but I could still see a dark shadow under my eyes no matter how much product I layered on. Then I discovered this Becca corrector. It’s a light peach color that counteracts my dark circles and instantly brightens my entire eye area. I apply a small amount of this then layer my concealer on top, and its’ made a world of difference in the way my eyes look.

Hourglass Veil Translucent Setting Powder
Since my skin is on the oily side, I always like to set my face and under eyes with a loose powder to lock all my makeup into place. Most powders I’ve tried have either looked too heavy and powdery on my skin, or they were so light that they really didn’t do much and my makeup would end up creasing throughout the day. I recently discovered this translucent setting powder by Hourglass and I am OBSESSED. It blurs my pores and sets all my makeup into place so that I have virtually no creasing throughout the day! That’s a big deal for me, because my under eyes used to ALWAYS crease and I would constantly be looking in the mirror to see if I needed to re-blend my concealer. But since using this product I haven’t had to worry about it at all. Another reason I love this powder is that it’s so fine that it never looks heavy on my skin, no matter how much I apply. It helps blur my pores in the most natural-looking way and makes my skin look incredibly smooth.
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer
I love when I can use products in multiple ways, and that’s one of the reasons this bronzer is a current favorite of mine. This is another Hourglass product and it serves double duty as a face color + eyeshadow, combining dark, light, matte, and highlighting shades to give the perfect balance of color. As a bronzer, it gives me an all-over glow without making me look orange and is easy to build up depending on how dark I want it to look. To use it as eyeshadow, I’ll take a fluffy shadow brush and blend it into my crease and all over my lid. It gives me an effortless look and adds a little something extra on days when I don’t want to spend a lot of time on an in-depth eye look.
